CHINA OOLONG TEA - Melon Papaya Splash
Description
Flavor Profile
A refreshing infusion where the juicy freshness of melon blends harmoniously with the tropical sweetness of papaya. Subtle citrus accents from lemongrass and sea buckthorn peels add an extra touch of vibrancy, completing this balanced and flavorful composition.
What’s in this infusion?
Oolong tea (40%), apple pieces (apples, acidity regulator: tartaric acid), papaya pieces (10%) (papaya, sugar), melon pieces (8%) (melon, raw cane sugar, fructose syrup), lemongrass, sea buckthorn peels, beetroot pieces, sweet blackberry leaves, strawberry pieces, safflower flowers, cornflower blossoms, natural flavoring.
Oolong, which means “black dragon” in Chinese, is a semi-oxidized tea made from the Camellia sinensis plant, where the oxidation process is interrupted before it is fully completed.
The freshly picked leaves are left to dry in the sun. At a certain point, once they begin to wither and oxidize, the process is stopped by rapidly heating the leaves at high temperatures. The result is an exceptional tea with a sublime taste and distinctive character; its appearance and aroma fall somewhere between green tea and black tea.
Our Recommendation
Tea connoisseurs recommend lightly moistening the leaves with a little warm water before brewing. This allows the leaves to open up and develop their full aroma in a shorter steeping time.
