CHINA OOLONG TEA -Orange Blossom
Description
Flavor Profile
A delicate and refined infusion where the subtle character of oolong tea blends harmoniously with the gentle sweetness of orange and the distinctive aroma of orange blossoms. The result is an elegant tea with a soft, fruity character, perfect for moments of relaxation.
What’s in this infusion?
Oolong tea (93%), natural orange flavoring, orange blossoms (3%).
Oolong, which means “black dragon” in Chinese, is a semi-oxidized tea made from the Camellia sinensis plant. Its oxidation process is interrupted before it is fully completed.
The freshly picked leaves are left to dry in the sun. At a certain point, once they begin to wither and oxidize, the process is stopped by rapidly heating the leaves at high temperatures. The result is an exceptional tea with a sublime taste and distinctive character; its appearance and aroma fall somewhere between green tea and black tea.
Our Recommendation
Tea connoisseurs recommend lightly moistening the leaves with a little warm water before brewing. This allows the leaves to open up and develop their full aroma in a shorter steeping time.
