El Delgado Estate is a family project founded 20 years ago in the Palmar de Criollo region, one of the most important coffee-growing areas in Pitalito, Huila. The farm is led by the second generation of the González family, deeply committed to innovation, sustainability, and producing exceptional coffees. Their dedication extends beyond their own farm, as they actively promote environmentally responsible practices among neighboring producers.
Johanny inherited the farm from his father and, from a young age, grew up working with coffee. After a few years, the family discovered the world of specialty coffee and began changing the varieties grown, replacing Castillo with Pink Bourbon. The aroma of this variety had extraordinary potential, which motivated the farm to explore new fermentation methods and seek different markets to sell their production.

Their secret lies in absolute respect for each coffee bean, handpicking only the best cherries at perfect ripeness and processing them with almost obsessive care. At the farm, they experiment with controlled fermentations, slow sun-drying, and meticulous humidity management, all to bring out unique flavors in every cup.
But beyond techniques, what truly makes El Delgado coffee special is the love poured into every step. From seed to cup, each bean carries the soul of the family, the sacrifice of generations, and the dream of seeing their coffee recognized worldwide.
