Berhan Solomon belongs to the rare group of Ethiopian producers for whom coffee is not simply a crop, but a responsibility. His farm is located on the highlands of southern Ethiopia, where altitude, volcanic soils, and cool mountain winds shape dense coffee cherries full of character and aroma. Here, coffee is not merely grown — it is carefully nurtured with patience, experience, and deep respect for the land.

Berhan’s methods combine family traditions with a modern approach to quality: selective harvesting, meticulous sorting, and carefully designed processing techniques that highlight the natural expression of the terroir. Whether through washed or natural processing, his coffees share the same signature profile: clean depth, layered sweetness, and a vibrant acidity shaped by the unique landscape where they are grown.

What truly sets Berhan apart is his relationship with the local community. He works closely with smallholder farmers in the region, sharing knowledge, supporting improved agricultural practices, and ensuring fair compensation for every contribution. The result is more than an exceptional coffee — it is a story of collaboration, craftsmanship, and a community strengthened through dedication and shared expertise.
