China – the birthplace of tea!

The history of tea began approximately 5,000 years ago. Legends surrounding the origins of tea culture are as diverse as the varieties of tea grown around the world.

According to a Chinese legend, in 2737 BC, Emperor Shen Nung was boiling water beneath a tree after a long journey. A gentle breeze caused a few leaves to fall into the container of boiling water. The liquid took on a greenish hue, and a pleasant aroma rose from the vessel. Curious, the emperor tasted the mysterious beverage and experienced an unexpected sense of refreshment. The tree beneath which he was sitting was a wild tea tree.

This legend marks the beginning of a tradition that would go on to influence Chinese culture and the entire world. Tea is not merely a beverage, but an experience that has shaped trade, rituals, and even history.

An organic green tea produced in Zhejiang Province, renowned for its green tea. This special variety grows on carefully selected hillsides, at elevations where the tea bushes are gently embraced by the early mists and clouds. This unique environment gives the leaves a subtle sweetness and refined character, resulting in a balanced, floral, and slightly tangy infusion—a true expression of the art of Chinese tea.

It is perfectly suited to the atmosphere of a quiet morning or moments of relaxation.
