What does this infusion contain?

Green tea (49%), lemongrass, carrot pieces, blackcurrants (5%), redcurrants (4%), pomegranate seeds (3%), cornflower petals.

Green tea originated in China, where it has been consumed for thousands of years both for its pleasant taste and its potential health benefits. It is rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients that help protect the body from free radicals and may support cardiovascular health, skin health, metabolism, and cognitive function.

Over time, green tea spread to Japan and other regions of the world, becoming an essential part of various cultures and tea ceremonies. Traditional processing methods preserve the leaves in a form close to their natural state, without the fermentation process associated with black tea.

Green tea is produced by steaming, roasting, or drying fresh tea leaves to prevent oxidation. This process helps preserve their naturally occurring antioxidants and other beneficial compounds. The flavour of green tea can range from vegetal and grassy to sweet and floral, depending on the growing region and processing method.

Preparation method:

• 1 teaspoon of tea
• Water quantity: 200 ml
• Water temperature: 80°C
• Steeping time: 2–3 minutes
